Noteworthy: Visit to a Paris Market

I came across this video last week and felt like I had to share it. David Lebovitz takes you through an outdoor market, picks up ingredients for a meal he’s planned, then makes cooking it look like a breeze. Doesn’t that sound dreamy? Maybe only if you’re really into food, or really into France. I’m really into both.

A glimpse of France and a promising menu will always get my attention. So I clicked play and watched him go to my favorite outdoor market in Paris, how fun! And thanks to this video my tarte tatin anxiety has been eased (silly me for being too intimidated to attempt). All the recipes are on his site, and I’m thinking about making this menu for Christmas eve lunch because it’s simple, looks tasty, and I already have the squash (or potimarron) sitting in my kitchen. A little lazy of me, yes, but no one needs to know that if the meal turns out well. Right?
