New Rain Boots
After a good 4 years of tough love, my Hunter boots have given out on me. Today wasn’t exactly the best day to discover this since it was raining and I was running errands for work, but I’m quickly resolving the issue. I’m taking a leap and switching things up. I just ordered these Aigle boots I’ve been eyeing. Full disclosure: I saw them once online and thought they were handsome, then I saw them on an adorable little French girl (I’m talking 6-year-old) at the MoMA and decided they would be my next rain boot. I love a chic riding boot, and these are exactly that.
I have to say I’m a little nervous — I’ve never tried them on, I totally guessed at my size because La Garconne says they run small, and I’m anxiously awaiting their arrival and crossing my fingers that they’ll fit perfectly. If they don’t, I might have to go back to the drawing board. I’ve seen other rain boots I like, but these are definitely my first choice. Who makes your favorite rain boots?
